St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – After some six weeks, St. Kitts and Nevis has confirmed an additional COVID-19 case.
The announcement was made on April 30 where it stated that “the national landed in the Federation on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, from the United States of America (USA).”
The national is currently in quarantine at one of the COVID-19 certified sites and has been since arrival and is now in isolation.
The total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases now stand at 45 with 31 cases for St. Kitts and 14 cases for Nevis.
Forty-four cases have fully recovered and the federation has not recorded a death from COVID-19.
In an update on the number of first doses administered; as of April 29, 12,570 people have gotten their first dose with 9,544 on St. Kitts and 3,026 on Nevis.
No fully vaccinated people have been recorded.
