St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The 2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season begins on June 1, and the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has organised a commencement church service to pray for the country’s protection during the season.
The church service is slated for June 01, 2023, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Molineaux Extension, St. Kitts, at 5:00 pm.
The Atlantic Hurricane Season runs from June 01 to November 30, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicted that there would be a 40% chance of a near-normal season.

The names of storms selected for the 2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season are Arlene, Bret, Cindy, Don, Emily, Franklin, Gert, Harold, Idalia, Jose, Katia, Lee, Margot, Nigel, Ophelia, Philippe, Rina, Sean, Tammy, Vince and Whitney.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Nevis Disaster Management Department (NDMD) are expected to inform the public of the expectations for the season.
