St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – Minister of Tourism Hon. Marsha T. Henderson and tourism officials from the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis were in Barbados following the inaugural flight of interCaribbean Airways on March 12 to continue the campaign for further development of intra-regional travel and to market the destination to other Caribbean islands.

The St. Kitts Tourism Authority said it has “enforced a comprehensive marketing plan to strengthen the destination’s position to drive intra-regional travel to the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis.”

The Tourism Ministry and Authority, in conjunction with interCaribbean Airways and Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc (BTMI), hosted a promotion event at Hilton Barbados Resort to market and promote St. Kitts and Nevis’ Summer of Fun Campaign and the St. Kitts Music Festival to various travel and tour operators in Barbados.
