St. Kitts-Nevis COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout Commenced


St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Medical Chief of Staff Dr. Cameron Wilkinson was the first to take the AstraZeneca vaccine, followed by Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris at the Newtown Health Centre on St. Kitts Monday afternoon.

St. Kitts and Nevis, as of Monday, had received 2000 AstraZeneca vaccines from Dominica and expected to receive an additional 50,000 vaccines sourced from the COVID-19 Global Facility and other sources like India.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Hazel Laws facilitated the exercise and repeated information about the vaccine rollout in the Federation.
