St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Hundreds gathered on Fort Street in Basseterre on Wednesday, July 20 2022 to witness the opening of the St.Kitts-Nevis Labour Party Campaign Headquarters and also to get a sneak peek of the party’s digital manifesto.
Deputy Political Leader and Candidate for Constituency Number three, Konris Maynard gave a preview of the digital manifesto, which he said will be in the form of an App that can be viewed on smart devices. He mentioned that the App would be activated for public viewing on Saturday, July 23.
However, a representative of the St.Kitts-Nevis Labour Party told WINN FM on Monday that the launch of the app slated for Saturday was unsuccessful, due to technical glitches; but is expected to be rectified within the coming days.
As mentioned by Maynard, a St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party Government will be guided by seven (7) Pillars outlined in the manifesto. These include Your Jobs and Economy, Healthcare, The Environment and Food Security, Housing and Social Protection, Education and Scholarships, Sports and Entertainment and Your Good Government.
A new St.Kitts-Nevis Labour Party Government, once elected on August 5 will be led by party leader, Dr. Terrance Drew.
