St.Kitts Nevis (WINN) – The Honorable Minister of Tourism Lindsey Grant confirmed that the CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority will remit office on December 31. “We have a very good working relationship with the CEO”, said Grant.
Rumours were circulating about the working relationship, however, Grant confirmed that “She’s leaving not under any duress which seems to be indicated out there. She has personal reasons that she needs to attend to in her native land that she has to attend to.”
Brown, who has been the CEO for eight years, is originally from Jamaica. Grant said, “We wish her all the best and we have parted on very good terms”.
Grant thanked Brown for the work she has done to build a strong team in St. Kitts. “She has a very dedicated and committed team which she has moulded and can continue the work. I want to wish her all the best for her very excellent work that she has done, under my watch and before me.”
Melnecia Marshall was recently promoted from Product Development Manager to Deputy CEO of Tourism and Grant said Marshall is “very capable of standing in the shoes of the CEO”.
