NRP PRESS RELEASEĀ – On Thursday, June 17, 2021, our country’s Minister of Health announced the first Covid-19 related death for St. Kitts and Nevis. This is definitely sad news for us all.
The Nevis Reformation Party (NRP) extends condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.
In light of the surge in Covid-19 cases within the Federation, the NRP uses this opportunity to encourage our fellow citizens and residents to adhere to the Covid-19 prevention and control measures that have been put in place by the health officials. These include wearing of face masks and hand sanitization. We also encourage you to seek medical advice from your doctor regarding your eligibility for the AstraZeneca vaccine.
We also implore you to adhere to the regulations that have been put in place by the authorities. Even though we may have to deviate from our normal way of operating, we are required to be law abiding.
Finally, as a party that promotes togetherness and love for all, we ask you to show compassion and demonstrate kindness during this difficult time. We are all in this together.
