Swearing-in of the new Cabinet and unveiling of ministerial portfolios set for August 13


St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) – Prime Minister, Honourable Dr Terrance Drew officially began work as the country’s new leader on August 9 following the General Election in the Federation, where the St. Kitts Nevis Labour Party won six of eleven seats.

The Prime Minister and members of his Cabinet began their first working day with a tour of the Office of the Prime Minister, the Prime Minister’s Meeting Room, and the Cabinet Meeting Room.

Along with the Prime Minister, the Cabinet so far is made up of Dr. the Hon. Geoffrey Hanley, Honourable Marsha Henderson, Honourable Konris Maynard, Honourable Samal Duggins, and the Right Honourable Dr Denzil Douglas. 

According to the Government Information Service, the swearing-in of the Cabinet ministers and the unveiling of ministerial portfolios will take place on Saturday, August 13, during a ceremony held at the Warner Park Cricket Stadium at 4:30 p.m.
