T’ Shaunte Smith crowned Queen at Miss Labour Pageant

St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Miss T’Shaunte Smith of Constituency Number 3, was crowned Queen at the 2022-2023 staging of the Miss Labour Queen Pageant on Saturday night April 30 at Carnival Village, St Kitts.

She was crowned by the leader of the St Kitts- Nevis Labour Party, Dr Terrance Drew, having captured best results for Motivational Speech and Creative Wear and amassed a maximum total of 868.5 points.

Eight ladies representing each constituency on St Kitts dazzled an eager audience with a triumphant return of the Miss Labour Queen Pageant.

Following closely behind as First Runner Up with 863 points and best Evening Wear result was Constituency Number 4 Miss Taiyonce Liburd; Second Runner Up was Adoncia Mulraine of Constituency Number 6, with the Best Performing Talent, scoring a maximum total of 817 points. Miss Jewvonna Morson of Constituency Number 8 was “Most Popular on Social Media,” placing Third Runner-Up with 806 points.

The other contestants were Miss Photogenic, Desica Nisbett, representing Constituency Number 2, Tamiqua Douglas- contestant for Constituency Number 5, Sapphire Matthew from Constituency Number 1 and Cleo Fahie of Constituency Number 7.

Each contestant was awarded 5 bonus points for early arrival to the event. On stage to sash the contestants were Parliamentary Representative for Constituency Number 1 Dr Geoffery Hanley and Mr Konris Maynard, Labour Candidate for Constituency Number 3.Maynard has since congratulated the ladies on a highly contested pageant but is more so proud of Queen T’ Shaunte Smith for successfully representing Constituency Number 3. He lauded Smith for her consistency throughout the pageant.

The Hon Dr Geoffery Hanley similarly, congratulated the Labour beauties for a night of superb talent. To the new Labour Queen, he admonished her to “wear that Labour Crown with pride.”
