TC Immortals Take Champion Trophy In Record Time In Half Island Road Relay.

St. Kitts and Nevis (Sports Page) – The now annual half-island road relay, which was sponsored in the main by platinum sponsor, First Federal Credit Union, was held on Saturday 26th March.

The athletes started at Brick Kiln, with a warm send-off by Hon. Hazel Brandy Williams, at about 6:30 a.m.

Baton stations were at Butlers, Fothergills, Market Shop, Brown Hill gap and the race concluded at the Fit Park.

The dynamic team, TC IMMORTALS, stormed home in first place, in a record time of 55 minutes.

Hot on their heels in second place, was the SKN Defence Force, in one hour flat and in third place, was the BEAST FIT team, in one hour and ten minutes.

The event was part of activities hosted by the SKN Moves, Nevis Chapter and chief coordinator, Sheilagh James took time out to thank all who made the event such a success.

The Frist Federal Credit Union-platinum sponsor; Mr Timothy Caines and Associates Ltd-gold sponsor; Erika Guilbert of Nevis Equestrian Center; Queen City ATV Adventures; Hills and Valleys Hikes and tours; The NIA-Ministry of Health; Volunteer teams from Youth and Sports; The Police; Drivers-Bully Perkins and Anthony Webbe; Cool Blendz; Fit Wellness; Best Buy; HPU; NTV; David Walwyn; Jamir Claxton; De Jon Liburd and all of the athletes.

At the presentation ceremony, Ambassador for SKN Moves Nevis chapter, Ms Jan Grell Hull, assisted the PS in the Ministry of Health, Ms Shelisa Martin, in presenting the awards.
