Words of encouragement were given to the awardees during the ceremony by TDC Group’s Chairman Mr. Earle Kelly.

The inaugural scholarship program was held in 1981 and is named after TDC’s first chairman Warren C. Tyson. The scholarship has supported 249 students and TDC estimates that they spend approximately $100,000 dollars a year.

Additionally, the TDC Financial Services Company Limited presented the 2021 Academic Excellence Awards to eight runners-up.
