(Press release) Charlestown, Nevis – Health and Wellness will take center stage on Friday 14th April 2023, when the TDC Nevis Limited, the Nevis Health Promotion Unit, and the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) host a Health and Wellness Fair, in the Longstone Building Parking Lot, in Charlestown.
The community event, which begins at 9 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m., will feature dental and health screenings, mental health services, rapid HIV testing, health and beauty care products, and educational demonstrations.
Representatives from several health and wellness organizations including the City Drug Store (Nevis) Limited, Nevis Renal Society, Nevis Red Cross Society, SAGICOR Life Agency, Pink Lily Breast Cancer Care, and Lake Health and Wellbeing, will be manned by professionals who will share their knowledge and information about the services offered.
Additional support for the initiative will be given by a team from the Alexandra Hospital will be on hand to register blood donor volunteers, who are interested in donating blood to the institution.
Patrons will also have many opportunities to win exciting prizes when they visit the various booths while interacting with the different businesses.
The partnership between TDC and the health agencies forms part of the company’s fiftieth-anniversary activities and the TDC Home and Building Depots Get ACTIVE campaign.
