St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The highly anticipated meeting scheduled for today (April 4) to decide the way forward for the Team Unity Coalition has been postponed.
The news broke earlier today in a joint press release from Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Shawn Richards and Premier of Nevis Hon. Mark Brantley.
The statement said, “due to the sudden passing of His Excellency Vance Amory, former Cabinet colleague and former Premier of Nevis, we communicated with the Honourable Prime Minister that it would be appropriate to delay the tripartite meeting of heads of political parties scheduled for today until Wednesday of this week as a mark of respect to HE Vance Amory, a founding member of Team Unity.”
The survival of the coalition might be determined at this meeting following weeks of public disagreement with members of the coalition publicly combatting each other.
