Body of Palestinian boy released for burial 9 months after his killing
The body of a Palestinian teenager shot dead by Israeli forces in November 2025 has finally been released to authorities in the occupied West Bank.
Jadallah Jihad Jumaa Jadallah, from the Al Far’a refugee camp, was 15-years old when he was killed by Israeli gunfire.
His body will be buried according to arrangements made by his family, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
Israel’s practice of holding on to bodies has long pained Palestinian families, who sometimes have to wait decades before receiving the remains of their slain loved ones for burial.

Sultan of Oman to make state visit to UK, balancing pressures from US and Iran
The Sultan of Oman will visit the UK for a three-day state visit next month, as Muscat, which controls the southern shore of the Strait of Hormuz, comes under pressure from the US and Iran.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla will host Sultan Haitham bin Tariq at Windsor Castle from October 20 to October 22, Buckingham Palace said in a statement on Thursday. More detailed plans of the visit were not released.
Britain often uses state visits to reward friends and cajole reluctant allies by honouring visiting heads of state with all the pomp and ceremony the monarchy can muster.
They usually include a ride in a horse-drawn carriage, reviewing the troops, and a lavish state dinner hosted by the king, as well as bilateral meetings with senior government officials.
News of Sultan Haitham’s trip to Britain comes after Trump last month threatened to bomb Oman as it appeared close to making a deal with Iran to manage ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, the waterway through which 20 percent of the world’s oil and natural gas flowed before the war in the Middle East.
Hezbollah criticises Lebanese president’s push to end ‘enmity’ with Israel
Hezbollah’s parliamentary bloc says Lebanese President Joseph Aoun’s pursuit of an end to “enmity” with Israel disregards the National Covenant.
The group’s leader Naim Qassem has previously rejected direct talks between Lebanon and Israel. Lebanon’s leadership has pledged to extend its authority across all its territory, but has so far avoided acting against Hezbollah, despite calling on them to disarm.
