St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): A family on St. Kitts is seeking the public’s assistance in raising US $30,000 to fund life-saving treatment and air ambulance for Lester Louard.
Lester Louard, also known as Color Black or Colors from McKnight, St. Kitts is very ill and is in need of urgent intervention, including radiation and chemotherapy overseas, the family confirmed. He has not worked for the past few months due to a diagnosis of Mediastinal Tumors. These are growths that are formed in the area of the chest that separates the Lungs.
A Go Fund Me page has already been set up for individuals to make financial donations to the cause and Currently, US $6,771 has been raised.
The Go Fund Me campaign profile states that the family unit has already started raising a percentage of these funds, but said “we can use any help we can get to meet the financial obligation goal.” In addition, the profile also states, “The treatments are not covered by his medical insurance and are too costly for his family and loved ones to pay for alone.”
The family continues to plead with the general public to contribute to the Go Fund Me campaign so that Lester Louard can get treated as soon as possible.
