The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force investigates accident on F.T Williams Highway

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is investigating a traffic accident that occurred on the F.T Williams Highway in the vicinity of Kayanjet on Monday, June 26, 2023 between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm.

The collision involved motor van, P 2504 driven by Aaron Benjamin of Dieppe Bay and owned by Colin Richards of Sandy Point and a motorbike ridden by Leon Griffith of Monkey Hill.

A police report disclosed that Mr. Benjamin was travelling westwards along the F.T. Williams Highway and performed a U-Turn in the vicinity of KayanJet. As a result, Mr. Griffith, who was also travelling in the same direction collided with the right side of the motorvan.

Griffith suffered pain in his right shoulder and hip and was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital and was warded in a stable condition.
