St.Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The St.Kitts and Nevis Labour Party will be celebrating the goodness of God at its 90th-anniversary church service on January 23, 2022, at the New Birth Gospel Tabernacle Church in Cayon at 9 a.m. The anniversary is to be held under the theme “People, Transparency, Stability, Always our #1 Priority.”
The St.Kitts-Nevis Labour Party, the oldest active political party in the English-speaking Caribbean, stems from the Workers Union which was founded on January 25, 1932. In its 90 year history, it has seen five persons rise to the helm as party leader; The Right Excellent Sir Robert Llewelyn Bradshaw, The Right Excellent Sir Caleb Azariah Paul Southwell, Sir Lee Llewelyn Moore, The Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas and the current leader Dr. Terrence Drew.
WINN FM’s News Team spoke with Dr. Drew who indicated that the St.Kitts Nevis Labour Party’s 90th-anniversary will take the form of a year-long celebration. He also noted that a Calendar of Activities will be released.
