The St. Kitts-Nevis National Carnival Committee pays tribute to former Carnival Queen

St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The St. Kitts-Nevis National Carnival Committee remembers and honours the life of Queen Cheryl Dore Samuel in a social media tribute on Thursday, September 15.

The tribute reads, “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs Cheyl-Dore Samuel. In 1979 Cheryl Dore was crowned National Carnival Queen from a field of seven contestants. What great memories we have, for she was a phenomenal queen; incredibly pleasant and thoughtful. May her memory live on forever.”

The Carnival committee has also extended condolences to Cheryl’s family and friends, praying that happy memories of her gives peace and comfort.

 

Cheryl Dore- Samuel was the eighth St. Kitts-Nevis National Carnival Queen.

 

Cheryl resided in Toronto with her husband Simon Samuel. The grieving husband in a social media post said, “I will miss you my lovely wife, my heart is heavy.”
