St. Kitts and Nevis (Tourism Authority): Please note that only morning sessions will be conducted for the St. Kitts and Nevis “Travel Approved” training on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, starting from Monday 12th October until November 2020.
The St. Kitts Tourism Authority and the Ministry of Tourism in conjunction with the Ministry of Health continues to facilitate training, which is the first step in the process of equipping stakeholders to obtain the St. Kitts and Nevis “Travel Approved” Seal, to ensure that our visitors are confident that they will be safe when they visit our island.
The Government has identified October as the possible reopening month. All are advised that prior to operating all employees must be trained, and establishments must be inspected by the National Emergency Operations Center. Training sessions began in July and will continue through to November 2020 for all tourism sectors, including:
- DMCs
- Bars
- Restaurants
- Accommodations
- Destination Management Companies
- Water based Operators e.g. Water Sports, Catamarans, Fishing Boats
- Tour Operators
- Taxi Operators
- Vendors
- Attractions
- Beach Umbrella and Chair Rental
- Port Agents
- Spas
- Air and Seaport Employees
- Airline Employees
- Customs
- Immigration
- Wedding Planners
- Entertainers
