St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Ministry of Tourism continues its training to boost compliance with COVID-19 regulations as efforts continue to get the country on the right footing for the reopening of borders and the re-entry of international visitors and tourists.

Tourism service providers can earn a Travel Approved Seal after successfully completing mandatory COVID-19 sensitization training offered by the ministry.

Stakeholders who do not receive the approval seal will not be allowed to operate in the Federation.

Sessions are expected to continue into the month of September for taxi operators, hotels, vendors, beach bars, retail stores, water, and land-based tour operators and water-sports providers.

Tourism Product Development Manager Melnecia Marshal talks to Clive Bacchus about the initiative and how the Federation hopes to benefit from its successful implementation.
