St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The National Hurricane Center at 5 pm advised that Tropical Depression Seven formed over the Atlantic Ocean about 1185 miles west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands and about 1420 miles east of the Windward Islands.
The depression is moving in a west-northwest direction at 8 mph with maximum winds at 35 miles mph with higher gusts.
A turn to the west and increased forward speed is expected to take place tonight and should continue through to Friday.
The depression is expected to become Tropical Storm Gonzalo by tonight or Wednesday.
