St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Another hurricane could be churning in the waters of the Caribbean Sea. That’s according to the latest update by the National Hurricane Center.
Tropical Storm Delta is expected to become a hurricane on Tuesday (October 6).
A Hurricane Watch is in effect for the Cuban province of Artemisa and the Isle of Youth with hurricane conditions possible beginning Tuesday afternoon.
A Tropical Storm Warning is currently in effect for the Cayman Islands.
Maximum sustained winds have increased to 45 mph and additional strengthening is expected. TS Delta is moving toward the west at near 7 mph.
There is no immediate threat to the Federation based on this forecast.
