St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): As Gonzalo makes its way towards the Caribbean island chain a Tropical Storm Warning and Hurricane Watch continues today for Barbados and St Vincent and the Grenadines. A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for Grenada and Tobago while a Tropical Storm Warning is also in effect for St Lucia.
At 11 am Tropical Storm Gonzalo was located 485 miles east of the southern Windward islands moving rapidly toward the west at 18 mph.
Maximum sustained winds have dropped to 50 miles per hour with higher gusts.
Gonzalo will approach the southern Windward islands tonight and move over the islands on Saturday.
