St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Law enforcement in St. Kitts and Nevis will receive a boost with an additional 27 more personnel who graduated on Thursday afternoon (July 9) at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.
Commissioner of Police Hilroy Brandy told the graduates that there must be a lasting desire to be the best police officer there is in the federation.
He noted that officers should have the inkling of knowing when something is wrong and to do something as the police force works to continue to keep crime down across the Federation.
Inspector Shorna Edwards in giving an overview of the 23-week training course disclosed that the program comprised of 9 females and 18 males.
The group comprised of 18 nationals, 1 Haitian, 5 Dominicans, 1 Guyanese and 2 Jamaicans. Two officers were participants from the last cycle.
The passing out ceremony was still ongoing up to news time Thursday, where Minister of National Security Dr. Timothy Harris was expected to give a charge to officers.
