NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (July 06, 2023)- Two bills were given a first reading during the July 06, 2023 sitting of the Nevis Island Assembly.
Premier of Nevis Honourable Mark Brantley, Minister of Finance in the Nevis Island Administration (NIA), introduced the Nevis Business Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2023 and the Nevis Limited Liability Company (Amendment) Bill, 2023.
The Nevis Business Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2023 seeks to amend the Nevis Business Corporation Ordinance, Cap. 7.01 and for matters related to and connected therewith.
The Nevis Limited Liability Company (Amendment) Bill, 2023 seeks to amend the Nevis Limited Liability Company Ordinance Cap. 7.04 and for matters related to and connected therewith.
The Nevis Multiform Foundations (Amendment) Regulations was struck from the Order Paper.
Thursday’s sitting of the parliament was adjourned sine die.
