Two days of great endurance lands Jermahd Huggins a silver medal at CARIFTA 2024

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Jermahd Huggins of Team Unstoppable SKN blasted through the 1500m- the final event of the Open Males Octotholon, to win a silver medal at the CARIFTA Games 2024 in Grenada.

Jermahd participated in the 100m, Long Jump, Shot Put, 400m, 110 meter Hurdles, High Jump, Javelin, and the 1500m to earn the silver medal.  The events were held over the first two days of the CARIFTA Games.

Huggins won 2 of the 8 events in the Octothlon, moving from 8th place on day one to 2nd position at the end of the event.

Following his outstanding performance, Huggins achieved the accolade as 2nd best athlete in the Caribbean for 2024.

Jermahd’s silver medal achievement brings the medal count to three for Team Unstoppable SKN.
