St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Two men have been charged for illegally entering the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis on February 03, 2023.

Danny Henry (a 45-year-old national of Dominica) and Brisone Desir (a 25-year-old national of Haiti) were charged with the offences of Illegal Entry at a Port that is not a Formal Port of Entry and Disembarking Without the Consent of an Immigration Officer on February 06, 2023.

The report was received on February 03, 2023, at about 6 p.m. The information also stated that two males came out of the boat and walked towards Bath Village.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and The St. Kitts and Nevis Customs and Excise Department responded to a call sometime after 6 p.m. on February 06. They found two males in Bath Village who were stopped and questioned.

The men were nationals of Dominica and Haiti who arrived on a motor vessel anchored off the coast in the Gallows Bay area and made their way to the shore using a dinghy.

Officers then accompanied the men to the main vessel, where they found 13 nationals of Haiti – ten adults and three juveniles – onboard.

They are currently detained pending further investigations.
