St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): In a look at the local COVID-19 situation for St. Kitts and Nevis over the past week (July 11 – 16), the Federation recorded 18 new cases of COVID-19.
Almost half the amount of cases recorded the previous week (July 4 – 9) at 35 cases.
Additionally, the active cases are now at 74, with no new deaths added to the three previously recorded.
Total cases since the start of recorded cases in 2020 stand at 548, according to the COVID-19 Situation Report No. 477.
On vaccination numbers, since the resumption of the vaccine rollout on Thursday, July 8, 773 doses were administered as of July 16; 378 were first doses, and 395 were second.
The Federation is steadily on course towards herd immunity, 33,037 people fully vaccinated, with 70.6 percent of that target having received their first shot and 58.4 percent going back for the second.
