St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Work on the West Line Bus Terminal could be completed as early as next week, paving the way for citizens and residents to use the new facility.
E&J Construction started work on the facility October last year but work was disrupted due to COVID-19 regulations in March.
Currently, workers are completing work on underground pipes in the area.
Director of Public Works, Cromwell Williams tells WINN that the Department is not playing an integral role in the project, but will be involved in the final stage of the development.
According to Williams, the Department is expecting the contractor to complete work on the site this week.
When that is done, the Department will then step in next week to complete the paving of the area which is scheduled to take one week.
WINN FM reached out to the St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA), for a comment on the project but was unsuccessful at news time Tuesday morning.
