St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN):  The missing person bulletin raised over the weekend for Mr. Sandeep Hingorani has been discontinued after the visitor departed on an airline flight back to the United States.

Several hours after Mr. Sandeep Hingorani was reported missing on the island of St. Kitts, he was found aboard a United Airlines flight headed to New Jersey, USA.

It was a whirlwind weekend for Mr. Hingorani, who arrived in St. Kitts on the cruise vessel Enchanted Princess which docked at Port Zante, on Friday morning, February 24, 2023. When the cruise vessel lifted its anchor late Friday evening, Mr. Hingorani was not onboard.

A senior police officer in the Royal St.Christopher and Nevis Police Force said a missing person bulletin was issued on Saturday morning February 25, 2023, following a report to the Criminal Investigation Department. An investigation was conducted which included searches at the Joseph N France General Hospital, Mary Charles Hospital, Pogson Medical Center, St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority and the Marriott Hotel.

However, upon police inquiry at the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport, information was given that Hingorani was about to leave the country.

According to police, Mr. Hingorani said he left the cruise vessel on Friday afternoon to visit relatives and friends who came to St. Kitts on a sailing boat. According to Mr. Hingorani, the group spent the afternoon fishing, but upon his arrival at the cruise port, the Enchanted Princess had already departed. Hingorani added that he made a report to the Immigration Department and also informed the cruise line of his reason for missing the vessel and then proceeded to book a flight to New Jersey where he resides.

Hingorani spent the night at the Seaview Inn located in the capital, Basseterre. The man, according to police, appeared to be in good physical and mental health.
