(Demerara Waves) – Five days after top leadership teams from the main opposition We Invest in Nationhood (WIN) and the A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) met to address several major political issues, both parties on Saturday finally agreed to a joint statement on their discussions.
Following is the parties’ joint statement.
The Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Azruddin Mohamed, led a delegation from We Invest in Nationhood (WIN) to meet with a delegation from the A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) to discuss matters of mutual concern and the prospects for greater political cooperation in the interest of the people of Guyana.
The WIN delegation comprised the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Azruddin Mohamed, MP; Ms. Odessa Primus, MP, General Secretary of WIN; Ms. Tabitha Sarabo-Halley, MP; Ms. Natasha Singh, MP; Mr. Duarte Hetsberger, MP; and Mr. Vishnu Panday, MP.
