St.Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Workers of Parks and Beaches, a unit within the Ministry of Health, St.Kitts staged a protest through the streets of Basseterre today (Jan. 17, 2022).
The protestors demand the removal of an employee from their position within the department.
At least 50 employees, some bearing placards made their way to the Ministry of Health where they had an audience with the Permanent Secretary within the Ministry and a representative from the Labour Department.
Repeated calls to the Parks and Beaches Unit went unanswered as at news time.
