St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Seven months have passed and negotiations are still ongoing for the construction of the One&Only Resort on Nevis.
“The update I can provide is that we continue in discussions with the developer. The developer has the responsibility of raising the necessary capital in order to execute this particular project,” said Premier and Minister of Tourism Mark Brantley.
Brantley told journalists at his August 26 press conference that “the developer has until the end of the year to identify and finalize financing for this particular project and we hope that they can do so.”.
In early January 2021, Brantley signed a deal for the start of construction of the luxury One&Only Resort which has properties in South Africa, Malaysia, Dubai, Rwanda, Mexico, and Mauritius.
